Colaboraciones Eastpak FW 19-20
Since 2004, the fashion firm Eastpak collaborates with important designers in order to configure the brand identity and reinvent it over and over again. This time, the new season of Easpak FW 19-20 comes with three major collaborations of well-known brands: Raf Simons, White Mountaineering and Alpha Industries.
The first collaboration of the new Eastpak backpacks for this season was the one created with the Belgian designer Raf Simons. Now, the brand surprises us again with a second collaboration with the designer of the Japanese firm White Mountaineering and the one made with Alpha Industries.
Eastpak x White Mountaineering
This is the second time that the designers of Eastpak and White Mountaineering have decided to collaborate together in the design of new backpacks. This time, Eastpak wanted to take urban clothing to the next level and reinvent all of its durable designs in the style of the Japanese urban brand.
Yosuke Aizawa, the designer of the Japanese firm, in addition to providing a different air to the brand, has managed to give a new functionality to the classic models of Eastpak and consolidate Japanese fashion as one of the references of change and originality in fashion international.
This latest collaboration is characterized by urban prints, harness straps and buckles with cobra ornaments that share high quality and functional design with urban aesthetics.
Thanks to the mix of design, utility and technology that the designer of the Japanese firm seeks, Easpak and White Mountaineering have managed to bring Japanese urban fashion to its maximum expression.
The result, backpacks characterized by large urban prints (typical of the Japanese essence), with harness straps and buckles with cobra ornaments that share high quality and functional design with urban aesthetics.
The backpacks chosen for this collaboration have been Wm Pak’r, Wm Vest Bag and Wm Musette.
WM Pak’r: a complete functional combination of everyday urban backpack with multiple pockets and a padded laptop sleeve that optimizes space. It is one of the riskiest reconversions of the backpack.
WM Musette: a mini-pocket with multi-pocket and an adjustable removable strap to suit your personal style.
WM Vest Bag: a classic of urban clothing that allows you to carry things in different ways thanks to its multipockets.
Easpak x Alpha Industries
Alpha Industries was founded in 1959 in Tennessee as a manufacturer of military equipment for the United States Army. After presenting its most practical designs to civilians, Alpha Industries became famous for its iconic bomber and bomber jackets, labeled with its recognizable red ribbons for air safety.
Now, Alpha Industries surprises us and returns to the roots of the United States Army to celebrate its rich legacy and quality craftsmanship. The collaboration unites two icons that debuted in the 50s by providing high performance equipment for the US Army.
His most outstanding backpack of this collaboration is the Padded Pak’r Alpha Dark Green, the quintessentially redesigned backpack with quality Alpha Industries garments in an exclusive Alpha Dark Green.
Eastpak x Raf Simons
Another of his latest and outstanding collaborations was the one created together with the Belgian designer Raf Simon entitled “The circle closes”, which combined the most mythical Eastpak designs with the reinterpretation of Raf Simons creating four high quality models and unique finishes: 'Westbag Loop ',' Topload Loop ',' Topload L Loop 'and' Padded Loop '.
Both firms wanted to honor their long relationship with a new collection that reinvents the emblematic styles of Eastpak. This is a collection of backpacks and bags more exclusive for the autumn-winter 2019 season.
In this latest groundbreaking collaboration of futuristic fabrics and a vibrant color palette, metal clips, intense textures and a combination of colors and contrasts stand out.
